Brooke is a fabulous soul, and we got along smashingly.  She's working on marketing and promotional materials for her songs...wouldn't this make a great CD cover?

Now that Vanessa has three kids, she never gets to sneak a peek at her studio images after the shoot...so I chose a few favorites to post. 

 

And then she was done with me...

 

Megan Kristel changed my mind.  I hadn't worn heels in a long time.  I hadn't busted out pantyhose and 'professional' attire since I finished teaching two years ago.  I heard her talk at the eWomen Network meeting in April, and...I've worn a dress to work THREE times this week.  It's unprecedented.  Megan has this perfect, funny, endearing way of making you feel really, really sorry that you haven't been dressing like a rockstar each and every minute of your life.  Visit her personal shopping/image consulting/general fabulousness here.  

Oh, and her family came in for a shoot this week!  They rocked the studio, and Miss Maddie made me giggle furiously.  The results?

...and yes, I've been blog slacking, people...truth is, I've been at my computer a lot less than usual this week...installing, moving, and changing things in the studio big time.  The place is looking ROCKIN,' and is improving by the minute!  Much thanks to Mr. Hoge, who rocks the casbah with his know-how and phone calls that start with, "I hear you need a screwdriver with a man on the end of it.  How about I come over in half an hour?"  I can only hope I'm that awesome at 70-plus...

After back-to-back-to-back-to-back sessions, I'm a little tired. But this shot makes me giggle...alright, guffaw.

At long, long, loooong last, Pam has decided to buy BIG!  I'm so excited about her choices...they're going to look fabulous!  I did a little bit of cross-processing on them, just to show something different from the studio...it's really subtle, but can easily add a vintage look to your images. 

Miss Ellie is GORGEOUS, and gives me baby fever.  Her parents wanted naked baby shots, and this one is my favorite favorite favorite.  Or favorite³.

...why yes, I did print this as a 24x36" for studio display!  :)

It's first communion season around here.  Miss Lauren is full of life and sparkle and pizazz, so getting lovely serious shots of her was no easy task...

I am in need of a female over the age of 18 who is willing to be my hot tamale boudoir model.  Should you be a hot tamale MAMA, even better.  If chosen to be my lucky lady, you'll receive a free essential studio boudoir session & a leather session album filled with your favorite 12 5x7" images.  (That's a $550 value, pretty ladies...) 

Remember that MUCH of photographing someone in their skivvies, knickers, or stilettoes lies in lighting & my ability to capture your best features.  So if you're not nominating yourself because you hate your booty, then I'll agree to avoid your booty, and you can work it for my camera. 

If you want to bring a friend to make you giggle and keep track of the Ipod playlist during the shoot, all the better.  You may not, however, bring your husband/spouse/live-in/boyfriend/male toy to the shoot.  ::whew::

And today, I ordered a 40 x 60" canvas for the studio.  I'm doing my best to provide you guys with new, fun ideas...because an 8x10 in your two-story entryway just won't cut it.
